The BESA DW145 Fire Damper Inspection and Maintenance Course is an EAL-approved training programme designed to develop the knowledge, skills and competence required to inspect, test, maintain and repair fire dampers in line with the latest BESA DW145 Guide to Good Practice and National Occupational Standards (BSEFSD04).
Delivered through a blend of online learning and practical training, the course covers fire damper systems, legislation, inspection methods, testing procedures, maintenance activities and fault identification. Learners complete theory modules, practical assessments and a workplace-based portfolio to demonstrate their competence, leading to an EAL certificate and supporting eligibility for the Blue Skilled Worker SKILLcard.
